Blue Eskimo, founded in 2003, is the UK’s leading recruitment company dedicated to servicing the learning sector. They specialise in connecting the most talented people in learning, learning and development, training, e-learning and education with roles in learning departments and with learning providers.
Blue Eskimo’s Director, Nick Jones, commented: “We needed to create an independent workspace within our office unit; a glass partition seemed the obvious choice but we were unsure of the complexity and cost of installation. We contacted The Redditch Partitions & Storage Co. Ltd. and Luke Egan came to see us. We were very happy with the suggestions he made and the level of detail. After speaking with Luke, we were very confident that it would be installed efficiently.”
The installation comprises a 2.4M high x 5.2M long run of frameless glass partitioning incorporating a single door and stylish, stainless steel accessories. Constructed using 10mm toughened glass panels and manifestation markings in the form of a dual band of squares.
In glazed doors and frameless glass partitions, manifestation markings are a legal requirement and necessary to comply with the 2000 Building Regulations Part M. For obvious reasons, a glass-dividing wall can be difficult to see, so manifestation markings are used to avoid injury and embarrassment.
Nick Jones went on to say: “We could not be happier with the results and genuinely feel that for what was actually a relatively modest investment we have added value to our property and have a completely new working environment. I would certainly recommend The Redditch Partitions & Storage Co. Ltd.”
